Interventions
Keeping in view the category and severity level autism psychological interventions are being planned. They include a wide range of psychotherapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Therapy (ABA), Occupational therapy (OT), speech therapy, and sensory therapy. Each therapy has different objectives and different approaches, highly trained, qualified, and licensed therapists can only practice them.
Guideline to Parents
These children are special and they should be handled in a special way. Parents should set a proper routine for the child, taking good care of his NAP (sleeping pattern). Follow a proper diet plan. Be regular and serious about the therapy sessions. As this is a two-way effort so parents should involve themselves my repeating the same guidelines at home as directed by the therapist. Be gentle and patient with your child.
